Some people mistakenly believe that clinical research, also known as clinical trials, is all about “experimentation.” In reality, clinical research is about providing new medical treatments while taking steps toward medical cures.

Thus, the amount of clinical research has a strong correlation to the quality of patient care. Georgia CORE is an organization that works to expand the number and reach of clinical trials in Georgia. Resonance helped Georgia CORE define itself as an organization by working with leadership to sharpen the focus of the organization’s core messaging.

This effort culminated with developing a tagline – “For today’s cancer care, tomorrow’s cancer cure” – as well as developing a new graphic identity program. The new logo balanced the scientific and human components of the organization’s mission. It also clarified the CORE acronym – Center for Oncology Research and Education – while exuding a warm feeling through color and shape.

In 2008, Resonance is helping Georgia CORE revamp the look and functionality of a Web site that enables patients and oncologists search all clinical trials in Georgia. We’re also helping the organization publish a first-ever directory to oncologists in Georgia.
