The firm seemed difficult to describe, hard to put into a logical category. They’re business consultants, policy wonks, PR experts, philanthropic advisors – and more. What they needed was that “unifying idea” that made their varied work somehow … cohesive.
We talked with the people of Ahmann, talked with the people who hire them, studied their work, compared it to the work of others. Through this process, a core description emerged: Ahmann is a firm that helps leaders develop a vision and make that vision a reality.
Such an idea invites further clarity, and we helped Ahmann develop examples that illustrate the different dimensions of their work.
As a result, Ahmann’s communications explore some of the big ideas they have helped bring to life, such as the city of Atlanta’s heroic efforts to secure the historic papers of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.
Ahmann regards its 2006 launch as a success. Says John Ahmann: “Our identity is distinct, our communication is understood, and best of all, our value is appreciated.”
