The state of Georgia employs several strategies to grow its economy.

One strategy is to leverage the state’s six research universities to drive more federal and corporate investment to Georgia.

That means recruiting world-class scientists to the universities. It also means brokering partnerships among the universities and with private industry to engineer breakthrough discoveries, many of which are brought to market.

Georgia is fortunate to have the Georgia Research Alliance to create such opportunities. When it comes to growing the economy of the future, GRA – an independent non-profit using public and private funds – is Georgia’s deal-maker.

GRA turned to Resonance in 2006 for help communicating its role and value to state lawmakers, corporate leaders and other key constituent groups.

Over several months, we helped GRA excel in the art of storytelling. Through print materials and presentations, GRA shared stories that vividly illustrate the universities’ contributions to strengthening the Georgia economy and addressing some of the most serious challenges facing the world.
